Series 18 of Sectio chirurgica has already begun – aimed at students of medicine and medicine related studies, medical and healthcare professionals and trainees in medical professions.

Interested? Then sign up now! We accompany patients from their first consultation through imaging and surgery to their physotherapeutical aftercare.

As part of the CIVIS collaboration, Sectio chirurgica is produced in both German and English. It is open to all students at CIVIS universities and, of course, it is also free of charge. Sectio chirurgica is an online lecture without commercial interests. Our aim is to offer students the best possible access to learn about human anatomy and state-of-the-art OR techniques.

Sectio chirurgica is organised by the Institute of Clinical Anatomy and Cell Analysis of the University of Tübingen and the University Hospital Tübingen. Lead by Prof. Dr Bernhard Hirt, it is aimed at medical students and professionals alike. Renowned surgeons perform characteristic surgeries on human specimen as part of an interdisciplinary and interprofessional exchange. This allows for specific insights that cannot be gained by using real patients.

You missed a livestream? Don’t worry – visit our media library, which has been revamped completely. Divided into anatomy, surgery, radiology, and 5-minute-routine videos for each case, you will definitely find exactly the right content.
